About

My passion and enthusiasm for graphic design began during my formative academic years at university and have continued throughout my professional working career.

In the past four years, I have had the opportunity to work with major brands which include; Toyota, Compal, ESSO, DStv, TAAG, Savanna, Castle Beer, Cristal, BP and BLUE.
I have also had the opportunity to work with international clients from America and Angola.

I strive constantly to improve my knowledge in design and to learn new skills. I am proficient in all computer design software and can produce and generate great design visuals from start to finish. I have the necessary expertise to adapt to the ever changing enviroment of graphic design and advertising. I exert myself to produce work to a high quality standard, ensuring that my work meets the clients needs and that all parties involved are happy.

My main ambition is to work with well-known and established clients and to build up a successful portfolio.

RESUMED BIOGRAPHY:

Born on the 2nd of April, 1980, in Porto, where he spend his childhood. However, he spent his adolescence in Braga and moved back to Porto when he was 15, to enroll in the Graphic Arts course at the Escola Secundária de Ensino Artístico Soares do Reis.

In 2000 he attended the sculpture course at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. In 2001 he changed to the Graphic Design and Publicity course, at the Escola Superior de Estudos Industriais e Gestão in Vila do Conde.
In 2002, he won the 1st prize along his partner Mariana Negrão at the "Uma estratégia de Comunicação para a região de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro".

In 2004 he won the 3rd prize at the "Ovarvídeo" for creating a poster to advertise the video festival in the city of Ovar.
In the same year, he studied for three months, under the Erasmus program, in Preston at the University Central of Lancashire (U.C.L.A.N.), in the graphic design course.

Later on, he took three professional internships at the Faculdade de engenharia da Universidade do Porto, in the portuguese famous newspaper "Público" and at the graphic design agency "XPTOdesign". In 2005, he earned his BA degree in graphic design and publicity with under the faculty ESEIG-IPP. In the same year til 2007, he had several jobs as graphic designer and newspaper designer.

Currently is living in Lisbon and working in TBWA \ ANGOLA
