My passion and enthusiasm for graphic design
began during my formative academic years and has continued throughout my professional career to date.

I constantly aim to improve my knowledge base,
learn new skills and adapt to a continually changing environment in the graphic design industry.

I strive to produce work of a high standard that
I can be proud to put my name to which is beneficial for all parties involved.

My ultimate ambition is to work with demanding,
yet well known clients to produce work which will
have great visual impact on others lives.

RESUMED BIOGRAPHY

Born on the 2nd of April, 1980, in Porto, where he spend his childhood. However, he spent his adolescence in Braga and moved back to Porto when he was 15, to enroll in the Graphic Arts course at the Escola Secundária de Ensino Artístico Soares do Reis.

In 2000 he attended the sculpture course at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. In 2001 he changed to the Graphic Design and Publicity course, at the Escola Superior de Estudos Industriais e Gestão in Vila do Conde.
In 2002, he won the 1st prize along his partner Mariana Negrão at the "Uma estratégia de Comunicação para a região de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro".

In 2004 he won the 3rd prize at the "Ovarvídeo" for creating a poster to advertise the video festival in the city of Ovar.
In the same year, he studied for three months, under the Erasmus program, in Preston at the University Central of Lancashire (U.C.L.A.N.), in the graphic design course.

Later on, he took three professional internships at the Faculdade de engenharia da Universidade do Porto, in the portuguese famous newspaper "Público" and at the graphic design agency "XPTOdesign". In 2005, he earned his BA degree in graphic design and publicity with under the faculty ESEIG-IPP. In the same year til 2007, he had several jobs as graphic designer and newspaper designer.
Currently is living in Oporto and working as a freelancer.
